Volunteers Needed

Bridget Iwaszczenko • October 1, 2024

"Together we foster a welcoming spirit of unity while honoring our diversity which leads to a graced harmony among us since Christ is the center of all we are and do."

We all want our lives to make an impact. You are being invited to make an eternal impact. You can volunteer for a ministry at Sacred Heart and bring others to Christ. According to Ephesians 2:10, "For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God has prepared in advance, that we should live in them." As Christians, we are called to do good works and live in them. You are important. You matter. What you do matters. God prepares the works and he also prepares His people. You have been given a gift from God to share with others.

Matthew 5: 13-16 states, "You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father."

We invite you to share these gifts and talents with the parish community at Sacred Heart. Please text Bridget at 856-291-0480 for more information.
